Person Specification - English Teacher / NQT
To be successful, you will be talented and ambitious English Teacher who has the drive to rise to the challenge and achieve fantastic results. You will have the skills to understand the importance of great teamwork and display a knowledge of both pastoral and authoritative communication styles. The successful candidate will have superb knowledge of the curriculum and an optimistic, positive outlook. If you are currently training you should be on track to receive 'good' or better in your final placement. This school are looking for someone who can provide a first class education for all.

About the Role - English Teacher
This English Teacher position involves joining a warm and support English Department. You will be teaching KS3 - KS4. Your duties will include helping to maintain this popular department's great reputation and teaching GCSE pupils. This Academy has the ability to offer ongoing training and CPD and you will become a part of a department led by a visionary HoD who will be your mentor.

The Academy - Secondary Academy in North Manchester
The academy is a smaller than average 11-18 mixed academy. The school has a higher than average amount of pupils eligible for pupil premium funding. The building is very modern, boasting open-plan classrooms that have been recently introduced and seen learning improve dramatically. The English department has always been strong, seeing an upward trend in results every year which is down to the hard work of all the Teachers in the department. An NQT would fit perfectly into this team with experienced teachers to mentor you and RQT's to share their experiences.
