A leading name in IT Recruitment has an immediate need for a team manager in their Bristol office. The position has come about due to their continued success, and is to take on an existing team of Contract IT recruiters. The business has UK wide coverage and is a recognised supplier across multiple sectors.
As Team Leader, you will be responsible for nurturing a successful team of consultants and recruit additional members to the team. Depending on your background you will manage a number of vacancies yourself and will lead by example, however the plan is this person will be a non billing manager within 6-12 months. The work is UK wide with a mix of corporate clients and SME's, and consultants are specialising in technologies and becoming experts in their chosen field.
You are likely an ambitious senior recruiter, a team leader frustrated by lack of opportunity to progress, or a current manager in need of a new challenge and brighter set of walls to stare at. It isn't rocket science, it's managing people in a repetitive and challenging role and keeping them focussed on their goals. You should therefore possess a good sense of humour, have demonstrable track record of success in your career to date and be someone people look up to. You are probably looking for a company with career opportunity, good earning potential and where kpis are frowned upon. Ideally you will have an understanding of the tech market place and are looking for a move to man management.
Salary will be dependent on experience and relevance but is likely to be in the £35k-45k region, with uncapped ote based on team and personal success. You will receive a good benefits package and the opportunity for this role to become a regional management position quickly is there for the right person. OTE is likely to be in the £60k - 80k region.
