A nationally recognised name within the housing market is seeking a Quantity Surveyor for one of their newest offices. Focusing on new build private housing the company are considered one of the biggest companies within their field.
The company, since opening this new region have already built up a successful commercial team over the last year and a half, with plans to expand even further this year. The role is office based but entails site visits to ensure Commercial interests of developments. Reporting into the Commercial Director, the duties to be carried out on 3-4 sites include overseeing variations, sub-contract orders and accounts as well as various other QS duties.

The Quantity Surveyor
This position will suit an Assistant Quantity Surveyor with minimum 3 years' experience in New build housing, working for a developer/housing contractor now and looking to further their career.
The right Quantity Surveyor can be either working towards a degree or HNC/HND qualification or have completed one, most importantly, is the house building experience they hold.
- The company is very forward thinking therefore the right candidate must be driven and motivated
- They must be skilled in valuations, payments and budget handling and most importantly be able to add value to a project
- The role will involve working on a number of different projects at one time so a Quantity Surveyor who can multi-task is essential
