A fantastic work opportunity is available for an experienced Resourcing Assistant to join the HR recruitment team within one of the UK's leading utility companies.

The role will be to assist the resourcing team within one of their key recruitment campaigns. From screening candidates, attending assessment centres and ensuring that the candidate has a great experience from start to finish, this role will certainly utilise your past resourcing skills.

We are looking for the right candidate to be tenacious, methodical and have a great ability to multi task.
The right candidate must have the flexibility to travel as per the needs of the business with potential over night stays.

What will I be doing?

As a Resourcing Consultant your duties will be to:
  • Attend and facilitate assessment centres in different locations.
  • Operate computer packages, process documentation (adverts/letters/applications/emails etc)
  • Maintain accurate database and paper records, access information and run reports in support of the management of advertised Company vacancies
  • Provide general support to other team members through the use of all Microsoft packages
  • Compile routine information using computer systems as necessary in accordance with relevant procedures and guidelines
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of HR recruitment and employment related policies and procedures and awareness of legislation that sits behind them
  • Resolve queries from both internal and external parties, providing written, face to face or telephone responses as appropriate
  • Work to tight deadlines and in accordance with team SLAs
  • Liaise effectively with other team members, recruiting managers and the wider HR team
  • Undertake booking of venue and resource arrangements for Assessment Centres
  • Preparation of Assessment Centre materials and collation of associated information packs
  • There will be a requirement for travel to other locations, overnight stays and the need to work outside of normal office hours, full expenses will be paid.
  • There is a requirement to work between the Hinckley and Coventry offices as per the needs of the business.
  • Manage and update Social Media recruitment activity
  • Complete Interviews both over the telephone and in person
  • Manage candidates expectations whilst ensuring that they experience a positive recruitment experience throughout their journey

An ideal Resource Assistant will hold the following skills and experiences:
  • Great demonstrable communication skills both written and oral, good attention to detail, organisations skills, ability to work in a team is essential, flexibility to work at other locations when necessary
  • Previous experience of working in an resourcing environment is essential
  • Previous experience of dealing with customers desirable.
  • Competent in the use of all Microsoft and other standard desktop packages
  • Be able to work the occasional weekend where required and also do extra hours in the week where needed

In return you will receive a salary of up to £32,000 per annum plus the following benefits:
