About the Role

The objective of this role is to provide high quality and insightful financial reporting and analysis, in order to support Severn Trent's Board, STEC and business decision making. Furthermore, you will be a knowledgeable, trusted, and challenging financial advisor to stakeholders across all business areas. As part of this role you will assist in the co-ordination of the monthly rolling forecast for all business areas, and in the preparation of the consolidated position for Severn Trent Water and the Group. You will also be involved in the preparation of sections of the monthly financial STEC and Board report, ensuring that this is ready for management review.

About You

As either an ACCA, ACA, or CIMA qualified accountant, the successful candidate will have had previous experience in collaborating with various business areas to drive improvements in performance. You will also have experience of working as part of a team, and individually, in order to meet tight deadlines. In order to succeed in this role it is key that you are experienced in preparing high quality financial information, and presenting this in both a clear and understandable format. Understanding of key forecasting principles, and knowledge of Severn Trent Water's regulatory framework is desirable, however not essential to this role.
