Are you a Lead Trade Marketing Manager within the global FMCG sector? Are you looking for a challenge, on an interim basis (12 months), to develop and implement trade marketing plans across the business, facilitating training and taking the marketing team to the next level?

Does a salary of up to £50,000 plus a £5,250 car allowance and a generous benefits package (including product discounts) sound of interest? If so, this global manufacturing business company would like you to head up their Marketing Team to cover for maternity.

What’s the Job?

Reporting to the Head of Marketing you’ll be responsible for the development and production of a rolling 3 year trade marketing plan; you’ll also:

  • Prepare overhead budgets
  • Present trade marketing update both internally and externally
  • Monitor market performance
  • Review a wide range of data sources
  • Manage projects
  • Build strong relationships with the sales team and customers
  • Work closely with design and marketing agencies
  • Translate shopper needs in store and online
  • Continually identify and implement marketing strategies
  • Ensure trade marketing initiatives deliver ROI
What experience do you need?

You’ll already be a successful Lead Trade Marketing Manager having at least 5 years within an FMCG environment and will hold a degree (or equivalent) in Marketing or a Business related subject, you will also need:

  • Exceptional understanding of UK Grocery retailing
  • Proven track record in translating data
  • Strong working knowledge of using market data
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Ability to manage customer communication
  • Experience of developing NPD, EPD and COP through logically planned process
  • Trade marketing experience
  • Proven ability to identify opportunities and present a viable business case
What are the pay and benefits?

A salary of up to £50,000 plus car allowance of £5,250 is on offer for this role; benefits include staff discount; pension; healthcare. Holidays are 25 days per year (pro rata)
