This is a great opportunity to join one of Manchester’s hottest start-ups founded by hungry and ambitious team just out of university! They need additions to their Business Development team, working closely with the Sales Director and Commercial Director to grow their client base of major brand names. You will be qualifying inbound leads and converting them in to proposals and eventually into new clients, as well as identifying markets to target, researching key decision makers and making initial phone calls to introduce the brand. You’ll hold both web based meetings and face to face meetings with clients, so you should have strong phone based and face to face communication and presentation skills, as well as the confidence to speak to CEO’s, Directors and senior people within national and global brands. You’ll not be fazed by working towards KPI’s and targets, and will positively thrive on the challenge, ideally with the confidence gained for 1-2 years of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment.
