Account Manager - Logistics
A leading player in the Transport & Logistics sector.
Proactive development of existing customers; delivering and maximising sales opportunities
Identifying and developing any additional revenue opportunities within the portfolio and their associated companies.
Visiting customers to maintain planned levels of revenue/contribution improvement through timely rate renewals.
Manage your customer data and all databases using the CRM system.
Work closely with the Telesales team identifying opportunities and possible leads.
Attend regular sales meeting and prepare monthly sales forecasts.
It is also essential to be good with numbers, IT literate and skilled at negotiating.
Field Sales, Account Management or from a Customer facing background with a minimum of 2 years’ experience.
Experience of managing, prioritising and developing your own workload. Excellent communication and customer service skillset.
Can do attitude with a problem-solving mindset.
IT - experience of MS Office in a working environment (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) Good numeracy
Excellent negotiating skills with a strong commercial and financial awareness
Self-motivated with the ability to operate collectively
Attention to detail
Understanding of CRM systems
A strong team player
Organised and able to take on-board ideas and implement.
Experience in growing an existing portfolio in a B2B environment.
Adaptable to change
Can demonstrate a deep understanding of the customer journey and how this can be used to manage existing accounts.
