£55-65k + Car & Package (dependent on level & experience)
Our client is a widely recognised national main contractor with an ever-growing construction presence in the West Midlands. The business has identified an opening for a Project Manager to join their ranks and lead new-build and refurbishment projects up to and around the value of £12m. They operate in a number of market sectors including: Hotel & Leisure, Education, Commercial & Residential. The firm are looking at securing circa £65m worth of construction projects in 2017, with a jump to £75m by 2018. One benefit of working for the business is locality - their entire workload falls within the Birmingham area meaning morning/evening commutes are kept to a minimum.

The role reports into a Senior Contracts Manager who can offer continued support and guidance, should you need it. You will be given overall responsibility for the delivery of construction projects alongside a fully established team consisting of: Site Managers, Engineers, Planners, QS's & Design. The role enables the Project Manager to begin managing the project during the pre-construction stage, and managing the scheme until final handover. You will be required to be actively involved with: Programming, planning, legal requirements, client liaison & influencing sub-contractor agreements. You are required to have experience managing projects of a similar value, in both the public and private sector.
- You will be responsible for all health and safety on site.
- Managing all quality inspections.
- Have ability to drive projects forward effectively
- Be ambitious and driven to achieve tight deadlines
- Experience managing projects with a value of £3million upwards.
- Manage cost, quality and time of the project with minimal support.
You will have the opportunity to earn up to £65,000 per annum with a pay review occurring on a quarterly basis. You will also get the choice between a company car and car allowance which is supplied on top of the yearly salary.
