SJC Partners are currently working on behalf of a top independent and regional accountancy firm in recruiting an Audit Senior. This vacancy has arisen due to promotion within the respectable accountancy team and the winning of new clients over a sustained time period. This award winning practice offers clients a high level of combined knowledge and experience of an established team.
The Audit Senior’s role will include the following:-
- Leading audits from the planning through to completion for a wide and varied client portfolio with a turnover range of £10m-£40m p.a.
- Taking managerial responsibility for a team of junior audit staff both in the field and office
- Delivering business services related duties to clients such as statutory accounts preparation, management accounting and forecasting.
- Playing an active role in business development and marketing initiatives for the firm.
To be considered for this role candidates should be ACA/ACCA/CA qualified or nearly qualified with a minimum of two years audit experience within the profession. UK GAAP experience and experience of auditing small to medium sized firms is also desired.
