Media Sales Manager - Oil & Gas
The Oil and Gas industry’s leading media provider is seeking a bright, motivated and enthusiastic Media Sales associate to sell advertising and sponsorship across print and online
Working alongside a small team of sales professionals based in the London office, the candidate will win new business in the UK, Netherlands and Scandinavia by providing access to marketing solutions via print and digital product offerings and publications
You will report into the US headquarters in Houston (travel to the US required as part of role) and will be expected to provide weekly sales reports and updates.
Educated to degree level, you must also be trained in sales techniques, with a proven ability to negotiate and close. An understanding of the media and the benefits of different advertising formats is also essential.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are a core requirement of this role. The successful candidate will be target-driven, self-motivated and intelligent. The ability to also speak and write in Spanish would be an advantage.
The successful candidate will:
- Sell digital and print display advertising predominantly by phone and client meetings, but with some international travel expected.
- Sell a new suite of lead generation products, such as whitepaper reports and webcasts.
- Maintain and develop their client base to maximize
