Systems Architect/Enterprise Architect

Starting immediately, a FinTech company is looking for a Systems Architect to be responsible for a SaaS Product for an established Blue Chip client base.

We have a small development team of expert Java and Angular developers. We are looking for a hands-on Architect to take the product to the next level. We want an expert on high throughput systems and their design. You will be working alongside the Development Manager and will need excellent communication skills - both on the technical side and the business side.

Our tech stack is Java 8, BPM (Activiti), Drools, MySql, Tomcat, running on Linux. We use Jenkins for Continuous Integration. It’s a pure Java, Linux environment.

Accountabilities include

· Taking requirements from the Product Manager and facilitating their design for development by the team

· Overseeing the architecture to ensure the awesomeness of the products

· Reporting to management and taking responsibility for the system design

Experience with and a deep understanding of all of the following technologies:

  • Java a huge bonus,
  • Angular or Javascript Frontend frameworks, Databases, 3rd Party Integrations
  • Able to quickly grasp the essence of a problem and work with other experts to diagnose and resolve it
  • Understand and have worked in Enterprise high throughput systems (millions of records, hundreds of customers)

Salary £70,000 - £75,000 + Bonus + Benefits
