Head of Sales- FMCG Global food wholesaler!
£60,000-£70,000+ package & competitive commission
My client is an established international specialised food wholesaler. specialising in sectors including hospitality, leisure, healthcare and education.
A brilliant opportunity has arisen for confident, ambitious and focused individual to join their Sales Team teams as Head of Sales. You will need a strong eye for detail and an adept leadership style.
You will be responsible for achieving sales budget within a national geographical area, managing the performance of the NAMs and BDMs working with Operations and Head Office Colleagues.
It is essential you have knowledge of the wholesale & non-food marketplace.
- Manage your sales team to achieve budget sales and KPIs
- Ensure that customer opportunities are exploited to the full in your geographical area.
- Be the key Head Office point of contact
- Work with your Area Managers and Regional Controllers to create and jointly implement a sales regional plan to achieve budgeted sales
- Provide timely and accurate feedback on market intelligence, competitor activity, including pricing and promotions, to Trading and other colleagues
- Work with Trading and Operations colleagues to develop supplier opportunities where agreed
- Write and execute project plans related to sales development as determined by senior management.
- Monitor key deliverables in relation to agreed project plans as required.
