Two vacancies exist for qualified accountants with good management accounting experience for a client of ours in the West Hull area. The location has excellent access to the A63/M62 motorway, the Humber Bridge, Beverley and East Yorkshire villages and central Hull. These are new positions due to continued growth of the company.


-Reporting into the Company Accountant with work for the Financial Controller the role will require working as a team to produce the management accounts, review gross margins and reconciliation of overhead expenditure, ad hoc project work and a variety of other duties as and when required
-It will be a hands on role requiring a forward thinking, team playing approach, good previous experience of project work and a robust intellect


-Preferably CIMA/ACCA qualified, candidates who are already at part qualified finalist stage will be considered with the relevant skills and experience
-You need to be adaptable and able to work with minimal supervision as you may be required to deputise for the company accountant on occasion
-Not afraid of a challenge, you are able to challenge the status quo when required and deliver results to deadline in a target driven environment
-You must have strong systems literacy, particularly with Excel, attention to detail and enjoy working in a fast paced, busy team with a diverse group of personalities
-An excellent communicator, you are able to share information easily and have the ability to relay financial information to non finance staff
-It is preferable to have your own transport as public transport is limited


-Our client is a successful organisation in the retail sector and with a national presence. The role is based in in the West Hull area with close links to the A63/M62, Beverley and East Yorkshire villages, the Humber Bridge and central Hull.
