YOUR CAREER: In what is a traditionally a transient industry our client is looking for a long term, career focussed individual who has the potential to progress into senior positions with greater responsibility. This Regional Sales Executive position is a stepping stone into an established and progressive business offering you great financial rewards on the way.
THE ROLE: As Regional Sales Executive your initial focus will be on developing existing and new relationships within the manufacturing, retail, engineering and logistics markets. Drawing upon a strong database of current customers you will be looking to renew existing contracts, upsell additional contracts and win new contracts from competitors. You will be selling a range of materials handling equipment to all levels of decision makers.
THE PERSON: What you have sold is of interest however how you sell is more important. The Regional Sales Executive needs to have a consultative approach to selling as well as a new business attitude. Whilst the role involves dealing with existing contracts it's no milk round and there is no room for individuals with a reactive approach.
