Director of Finance and Resources Charity
Opportunity to work for a National Charity and truly have an impact on the organisation at a strategic level. This role will see you working closely with the Chief Executive. With experience already gained at a strategic level the responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Ensuring financial information is accurate, statutory reports are on time and accurate and closely monitoring the finances for the charity
Strategic planning including the development of a comprehensive 3 year business plan
Developing of financial systems, procedures, internal controls
Ensuring compliance with laws relevant to the charitable sector
Liaising with external advisors and bank
Management of the portfolio of properties that the charity has ensuring compliance
Implementation of an investment strategy
Monitoring of risk
You will already have worked in the social care sector or social health sector. Applications from people in the working nursing homes / care homes would be very welcome as would applications from those seeking to work both full time and part time.
This is a vital role within the origination and requires a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIPFA / CIMA) to join the team. As they go through a period of change the organisation needs a strong character to work with the Chief Executive be involved in sustaining a great Charity whilst ensuring that the foundations are laid for future development and growth.
A manager, commercially aware and able to work effectively in a senior management role you will be passionate and keen to positively influence the organisation.
