One in six people in the UK will have a disability in their lifetime and we want to make sure they have the opportunity to live their lives to their full potential.

Leonard Cheshire Disability is the UK’s largest voluntary sector provider of services for disabled people. Our services include high-quality care and community support together with innovative projects supporting disabled people into education, employment and entrepreneurship. Worldwide, our global alliance of Cheshire partners supports disabled people into education and employment, and works in more than 50 countries.

This is a hugely exciting new opportunity for you to develop and embed an insight function which will drive our organisational decision making by listening to disabled people and so increasing the charity’s reach and impact through a robust evidence based approach.

You will lead across the whole organisation to influence the adoption of a customer centric approach to service and policy design while encouraging a culture of continuous improvement.

You will create and build a highly effective Insight team and demonstrate inspirational leadership to the team and as part of the wider Marketing and Fundraising senior leadership team.

Tasked with developing our first strategic insight plan, you will bring motivational leadership experience with large and complex organisations along with a track record of delivery.

You will have extensive experience and knowledge of insight technique and tools, be highly customer focussed with the ability to identify and articulate customer needs, have outstanding communication skills and high level research and project management skills.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to the values and ethos of the charity.
