Zachery Daniels Technical Recruitment are working exclusively with a growing Manufacturer based in Greater Manchester to recruit a Commercial / Contracts Assistant.

Due to growth and a subsequent increase in workload this thriving engineering business is excited to offer an experienced Commercial Assistant the chance to play a key role within contractual administration and commercial queries across this bussling site.

If you are suitable for this role you will be aware that the Commercial Operations / Contracts Assistant will be the initial point of contact for all internal and external commercial, contractual and terms within this engineering organisation. Your caseloads will be varied and as such you'll enjoy the benefit of supporting the company bid process, reviewing terms & conditions of commercial contracts and supporting contract handovers. With a keen eye for detail you will be expected to identify and mitigate potential contractual risks on existing and new business.

The successful applicant will be joining a small and extremely welcoming team. The role reports into the financial controller, (a dynamic friendly boss), however for an experienced candidate there is a good deal of autonomy available. In fact, to add more interest to the role the company would like the interested applicant to develop their skills further by providing HR administration support to the site, overseeing all local processes and procedures. With additional support and experience to be gained from both the Head of Legal and the Group HR Manager, a 4.5 day week, good holiday and pension package you shouldn't look back!

If you have a demonstrable background of working in a contracts or commercial administration role within an engineering or Manufacturing environment then we would like to hear from you. Contract values can range up to £1M, so additional experience of being adept at understanding the risks and intricacies involved towards this level are a must.

It would be useful if you have some HR administration experience, however if not then don't worry as full training can be provided.
