Charities Assistant (Part-time, 14 hrs per week)

About the role We are currently looking to recruit a part-time Charities Assistant who will assist the Charities Officer with the administration of The Chartered Secretaries’ Charitable Trust. Ideally, you will have knowledge of all aspects of Gift Aid including claims to HMRC, fundraising regulations, Charity and Company legislation and welfare benefits. You must have a good understanding of data protection and Gift Aid rules and regulations. We are looking for someone well organised with attention to detail and ability to collect data and financial information, analyse findings and present recommendations. Good interpersonal and relationship building skills and strong communication skills are a must in this role. You would have previously worked with Microsoft Office package including Access or other databases. This role will suit someone with keen interest to increase knowledge of charity governance and administration and to learn new skills.
