A Web Developer with Web Backend development experience (PHP, SQL and Linux) is required to join an expanding company in order to help develop their new cloud TV platform. This platform is in the midst of new feature development which will have a major impact on diversifying their market and this PHP Web Developer would play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of this project and future additions.

Day to day this PHP Web Developer would be working within a team of 6 Engineers (based on Linux, though having some Android OS experience would be a benefit).  You would be developing the Web backend of this cloud based platform using PHP, JavaScript and MySQL, within a Linux OS, utilising REST and Yii frameworks. This role would suit a Web Developer who has experience of web application backend development for products, or is a keen open source developer, with a passion for web development using a mix of PHP, SQL and ideally JavaScript.

Web Developer Requirements:

- Clear evidence of PHP development (and JavaScript ideally)
- Industry (or open source) development experience for the web backend, API design or feature design.
- Database design (MySQL)
- A relevant degree (computer science or engineering/science)
- a confident Linux developer

In return you would be joining at a great time in terms of your input into a long term product, as well as the fact you would be working with the latest in web technologies. Your salary would be relevant to experience but would be around £25-30k (graduates) or £30-45k (experienced Web Developers).
