To help meet future growth plans this internationally renowned organisation are seeking a bi-lingual IT Support Engineer (2nd Line) to support their large and diverse user base. The organisation now desires to invest in a robust IT infrastructure and requires a talented, reliable individual to help support this process.
Your new role
You will engage in a mixture of high-level support to all UK Office Systems, taking part-ownership of servers, networking and system support, including upgrades and patching where necessary. As a core member of the dynamic team, your success is driven by your proven track record in 2nd Line IT Support.
What you'll need to succeed
The role requires you to be professional capable in any of the following languages: French, German, Polish, Spanish or Dutch.
You are technically astute in Microsoft Windows Server 2008 and you will have good knowledge in Networking; encompassing DHCP, DNS, LAN/WAN technologies. Experience of working with VMware would be advantageous as would any qualifications/certifications such as CCNA, MCP, VCP. Experience supporting Point of Sales (POS) devices will place you at a distinct advantage.
