Project Manager, Product Build, ELT (12 month maternity cover)
An exciting opportunity has arisen within our English Language Teaching (ELT) group for an experienced Project Manager. This is a 12 month contract to cover a period of maternity leave.
Working within the Product Build team, you will be accountable for ensuring the delivery of a number of courses, from Cambridge’s globally renowned catalogue, to specification, deadline and budget. You will lead on the production stages of both print and digital products, taking them from an idea, to a final product that will give customers around the World the gift of the English language.
You will ensure that projects are specified and built to ELT policies, workflows and guidelines set within budget parameters. To do this, you will follow and develop ELT project management methodology and use project management tools. The role will also entail reporting on progress to managers and other interested stakeholders.
It’s essential that you have previous relevant project management experience and ideally, a project or programme management qualification, e.g. MSP, APMP or PRINCE2. You should have a demonstrable understanding of key project management principles including risk and change management. Experience of evaluating product build requirements is required as is the ability to create and manage budgets and schedules.
Personally, you are proactive, independent, adaptable and organised. You need to be a great communicator and have the ability to work collaboratively with people from across the business to identify solutions to issues that arise within your project.
