TECHNICAL SUPPORT -IT SUPPORT

Our client, a high profile organisation is currently recruiting for a Technical support candidate to join their IT team based at their Headquarters in Guildford.. You will predominately being providing 1st and 2nd line support..

Purpose of the role:
To provide IT support to internal users. This support must be delivered within a timely and efficient manner whilst maintaining the highest level of technical support (first line and second line)

Role responsibilities:
- Providing technical support across a multiple of technologies.
- Receives and handles requests for support following agreed procedures to ensure efficient resolution of incidents to agreed service levels.
- Responds to requests for support by providing information to enable problem resolution and promptly allocates unresolved calls as appropriate to ensure efficient resolution of incidents to agreed service levels.
- Maintains records and advises relevant persons of actions taken to ensure service performance is maintained.

Experience required:
- Good communication skills - written and oral, customer focussed, team-worker, who is a flexible, adaptable, problem solver and able to work systematically and with little direct supervision.
- This role would suit a candidate who has 1-3 years IT support experience
- Live within a realistic commute of Guildford
