We are a general insurance broker, 85% commercial 15% personal. We have offices in Aylesbury and Cwmbran, with a sub-office in Spain as well as a few execs working from home around the country. We are a traditional broker, well organised and well trained/experienced, but with a relaxed attitude in the workplace. Our staff members are our most important asset and treated accordingly. We use SSP Pure and are paperless.

Due to expansion we require a commercial account handler to join a team of 4. The job is split between handling 'direct' clients, mostly SME package business, and then doing the handling work for our external execs / ARs. It is a traditional account handling job.

Ideal applicant should have a minimum 2 years commercial account handling experience, more would be preferable. Solid knowledge of how to handle most aspects of retail, restaurants, tradesman, property owners, fleet, PI and combined policies etc etc is needed, but doesn't have to be an expert and will be in a team of people who have individual strengths and work together closely. CII qualifications are not needed, but if you were to join then this would be a requirement (at our cost) within a couple of years, as well as a commitment to training and keeping up to date with market changes.

Our Aylesbury office postcode is HP20 1LL. Job is 9am to 5:30 PM mon-fri, some flexibility in standard hours will be considered, and there is flexibility for doctors appointments and the like.

£26,000 to £32,000 PA depending on experience, monthly bonus package, 26 days holiday, additional days off at Christmas, company pension scheme, plus lots of free goodies in the kitchen!
