An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the one UK’s growing supplier of packaging solution and fulfilment services. This role comes with potential career prospects within Group.

SALARY: £30,000 – £32,500 base + OTE £33,000 -£35,500

LOCATION: Coventry

COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Birmingham, Leicester, Nottingham, Northampton, Worcester, Derby, Lincoln.

Established for over 30 years, we are a multi-million pound turnover group whose enviable portfolio of customers extends to a variety of markets including Automotive, Retail, Fashion, Construction, Financial, Toy, Electronic and Arts & Crafts. The diversification of our client base is due to not only our geographical locations but also each one of our business units complementing one another to ensure a bespoke solution may be continually offered.

As a result of increasing demand we are now seeking an additional Area Sales Manager to establish a strong presence within Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Warwickshire and Lincolnshire.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR CANDIDATES WHO:

* Develop further relationships and revenue streams with existing customer base as well as identifying and developing new business opportunities.
* Develop relationships with a wide range of customers including Automotive and Industrial clients.
* Work closely with the manufacturing plant and senior team members to ensure all forecasting is realistic and targets achieved.
* Submit and follow up quotations & deliver samples to new and potential customers.
* Can work creatively with clients on NPD and articulate these to the in-house design and sampling teams to ensure new products meet the specification.
* Work alongside an Internal Customer Service and Design team to ensure all KPI’s & SLA’s are managed effectively.

WE ARE INTERESTED IN RECEIVING APPLICATIONS FROM CANDIDATES WITH THE FOLLOWING:

* A field sales person with a proven track record of success looking to develop their career with a profitable group of companies who are able to offer potential career opportunities, or potentially an Internal Sales person looking for the first step into field sales.
* Knowledge of the packaging industry would be advantageous, however not essential, as it is the quality of the applicant that is the most important.
* Commercially astute and consultative approach to new business development.
* Excellent relationship building and communication skills.
* Influencing skills and some experience of working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
* Real ‘can-do’ attitude.
* Self-motivated, ambitious, entrepreneurial, with excellent team player skills.
* A passion and drive to succeed with a bias towards New Business Development.

It is highly likely you will have worked in any of the following roles in the past or currently: Account Manager, Sales Executive, Territory Sales Manager, Area Sales Manager. Business Development Manager, Business Manager. For clarity this role is bias towards Business Development.
