Awards Manager (maternity cover)
9-month position, with the possibility of extension to 12 months.
Our client is one of London's most prestigious publishing houses who have an impressive portfolio of conferences, exhibitions and awards.
This is a maternity cover position for an Awards Manager to manage a portfolio of events comprising of Awards, both UK and overseas, along with dinners for an external client.
The responsibilities of the awards manager will include:
- Co-ordinate plans and oversee the judging of awards events from facilities and catering, to the judging.
- Maintaining effective working relationships with external contracted key suppliers and internal events, editorial and commercial teams
- Working closely with the internal conferences team and liaising where necessary to ensure the smooth working relationship internally across joint projects.
The successful awards manager will have experience in producing Awards ceremonies from start to finish; including marketing for entries, organising judging activities and liaising with relevant production contacts to put together a show-stopping ceremony.
