A number of exciting opportunities exist within this Top 10 Firm in their Corporate Audit Team. They are actively seeking suitably qualified individuals with strong audit skills to assist with their expanding workload

The role will involve the following key areas:
• Ensuring the PROaudit pack has been approved by a manager/partner before carrying out an audit
• Preparing to be out of office at client sites time conducting audits and advising on accounting packages
• Demonstrating a good base knowledge of corporation tax, income tax, VAT, PAYE, company secretarial procedures and applications
• Managing the audit process, including budgets and timescales as well as completing required forms, providing commentary on accounts, summarising outstanding points to managers, analytical review, passing file to senior team members, and finalising all review points.
• Preparing a set of final accounts
• Achieving deadlines and understand the commercial implications of actions relating to productivity, recoverability, fee income and client service
• Complying with Companies House and other statutory deadlines
• Completing compliance reports, ensuring the Compliance department are informed of high risk clients
• Identifying internal control weaknesses, communicating weaknesses through the preparation of a management letter
• Ensuring ISA 260 letters are issued
• Ensuring office and on site audit work is carried out, including allocation of work within the designated team, in a professional manner
• Providing effective on the job training for junior members of staff, supervising and giving instructions
• Responsible for handing back complete audit file at the end of the client audit
• Completing job appraisals for junior members of the team

To be considered for this role, you will need to be able to demonstrate the following:
• Qualifications: (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
• Solid experience in practice, 50% of which should be relevant audit experience
• Previous exposure/working knowledge of PROaudit
• Ideally worked within a top 20 firm
• Involved with objective setting
• Influence internal clients/colleagues
• Work under pressure with accuracy and focus
• Excellent technical and analytical skills
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Competent using MS Office
• Good understanding of business and economy
• Industry knowledge dependent on group
• Proven planning and prioritising skills
