To support in the smooth running of the Revenue & Banking department the Senior Revenue & Banking Clerk will have the following responsibilities:

  • Preparation of Bank Reconciliations and supervise the timely follow up on any outstanding items
  • Ensuring open bank statement items are cleared promptly and banking reports issued to management weekly
  • Post non-VAT transactions through excel journal uploads
  • Calculating, booking and recording currency deals and entering foreign currency payments to the internet banking system
  • Review and maintain account balances daily across a complex group structure and accurately calculate and place overnight treasury deposits to minimise closing account balances
  • Support to review team's journal postings, weekly bank reconciliations, venue revenue and petty cash returns and monthly general ledger reconciliations ensuring compliance with company policy
  • Preparation of the month end cash schedules and propose month end reclasses
  • Managing and reconciling the cash-on-road (float) account in line with company policy. This will involve balancing all REPS float costs against cash collected and banked and reporting variances.
  • Lead and support cross-functional projects to improve business results as directed by the R&B Manager
  • Ensuring department is SOX compliant and processes are understood and complied with at all times.
  • Assisting R&B Manager with internal and external auditor information requests
  • To undertake ad hoc projects as requested by the Revenue & Banking Manager.

It is essential that you have the following experience to be considered for the role:

  • Strong multi-currency bank reconciliation skills
  • Extensive knowledge of a corporate internet banking system
