The Role

This is an exciting and varied role where your key tasks will include: supporting the department with high level document writing, creating, editing and quality assuring technical contracts and specifications for a number of large commercial projects, attending internal and external meetings as required, and writing project documents and document control systems to a professional standard.

This role offers genuine career progression within a large PLC group with full training and development available.

The Person

Ideally with a relevant degree or equivalent, you will have experience of a similar Technical Author role within a manufacturing organisation, ideally within Automotive, Aerospace or Industrial Engineering, where you will have written high level documentation, technical contracts and specifications.
You will understand project delivery methodologies, document control systems and be a competent user of MS Project, Publisher and Gant charts. Superb communication written and verbal is a must as is solid analytical and interpretation skills including statistical analysis to handle business and technical information effectively.
