National Account Manager-FMCG top 4 multiple accounts

£45,000-£55,000 + competitive commission & package

I am looking for an experienced National Account Manager to help grow my clients Grocery channels.

You will also be heavily involved with our product range development as they expand into additional product categories.

You will be mainly responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts. As a National Account manager you should be organised and able to analyse performance metrics. We also expect you to have good negotiation skills and the ability to foster relationships with customers. Ultimately, you should be able to facilitate communication with customers and build long –term relationships to achieve business goals.

Are you the ideal candidate for this role? You must have Account Management experience (grocery, convenience, wholesale preferred) and you must be comfortable working with a category management approach.

The candidate:

  • Experience in grocery accounts with any of the top multiples
  • Commercially astute with previous ownership of P&L
  • Ability to communicate and manage relationships at all levels, both internal and external
  • Strong selling, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Proven track record in delivery of sales, profit and margin and all relevant commercial KPI’s
  • Degree qualified
  • Experience in multi brand environment preferred
  • Flexible and adaptable approach with excellent team working skills
  • Ability to manage complex and multiple tasks with good prioritisation skills
  • Excellent computer skills – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Good at co-ordinating multiple agencies/stakeholders
