A leading IT Reseller are actively looking for an experienced Senior Account Manager to join its growing team in Southampton. Great location only 5-minute walk from Southampton Central.
Colva is a small but rapidly growing company enjoying unprecedented success, doubling our annual turnover for past two years and on track to continue this growth through 2016/17. With our continued growth plans we want at least two additional IT Account Managers/IT Sales Executives who a prepared and able to hit the ground running.
Successful candidates will be responsible for selling a broad portfolio of IT products, solutions and services to businesses, including Servers, storage, networking, hosted services, security solutions and both off the shelf & fully bespoke specialised software solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing organisation with generous benefits and uncapped commission where you can make a notable difference to our success and continued growth.
Working in a busy and fast paced environment, you will need to be confident, tenacious, reliable and willing to go the extra mile. Whilst having a proven sales track record, you should also have a good understanding of IT solutions. You will be responsible for generating and developing new accounts via inbound/outbound sales calls, working with lead generation teams, external suppliers and vendors and any existing contacts and customers you may benefit from.
negotiating product pricing, raising of sales orders and general account management.
This is a combined new business and account management role is paying a starting salary between £20-30k
We also offer one of the most generous (and uncapped) commission schemes in the industry which will enable you to earn an OTE of £50,000 or more in your 1st year.
To be considered suitable for this IT Sales role, you must have the following experience
- Proven strong experience in a business-to-business sales environment
- Proven telephone sales based experience
- Good level of IT hardware knowledge
- Previous exposure to selling IT / technical products
- Strong negotiator with a motivated and tenacious personality
- Ability to generate new business from cold calling.
- Effective relationship builder
- Professional and Self-motivated
- Proven ability to develop and close business opportunities
