Big 4 firm are looking for exceptional performers at Manager level to join their Corporate team in their fantastic central London offices. If you are an experienced Audit Manager looking to progress your career within a fast paced and commercial environment then this could be an excellent opportunity for you.

The business unit is a rapidly growing business with an Assurance division that offers a range of services, tailored to assist Mid range and Entrepreneurial clients grow and overcome the challenges they face.

There is an opportunity to work with an incredibly diverse client base too - FTSE listed, AIM listed, Private companies, Private Equity and Venture Capitalist backed companies.

You'll also gain experience across a wide variety of markets and industry sectors including Real estate, Hospitality, Media, Telecoms, Technology, Construction, Retail and Mining.


As part of the Assurance team you'll work predominantly on audit engagements, however, there are increasing opportunities to get involved with other related activities to give you a greater breadth of experience, eg areas of Corporate Finance. You will also be involved in pitches, proposals and tenders too amongst others. The opportunity for International secondments after period of time with the firm is also widely available.

You'll have strong technical knowledge, be a good all round team player and a proven track record in building and sustaining client relationships. You should be ACA qualified (or equivalent), have experience of executing assurance engagements from start to finish, and be used to working to tight deadlines .

Requirements:

ACA or equivalent

The ability to come up with innovative solutions

Experience of working with clients in the commercial sector

A passion for delivering an exceptional client service

Proven ability in leading audit engagements, including planning, controlling and completing a diverse range of assignment

Strong analytical and organisational abilities

Experience of supervising and developing staff through coaching

Strong project management skills

Knowledge of International Accounting Standards and/or US GAAP would be an advantage but not essential

Always wanting to learn

Highly developed listening and questioning techniques
