Work Relief Charity Recruitment is delighted to be working with a local Support Charity specialising in vocational training for those impacted by mental health issues.

We are looking for a Supporter Relations Officerto join a small team and take the initiative of nurturing current supporters while identifying and developing links with businesses, individuals and community groups that have expressed an interest in supporting the charity.

This would be a great role for an experienced supporter care, fundraiser, account manager, business development or customer service professional with skills and knowledge in managing corporate, community or individual supporter / customer relationships.

Supporter Relations Officer - 15-20 hours p/w

Guildford, Surrey


Part Time - 15-20 hours per week - flexible days/times.

£20,000 per annum pro rata

Duties to include:

  • Manage supportive relationships with businesses, community groups & individuals,
  • Identify & approach businesses, community groups and individuals, securing financial contributions & support in kind.
  • Undertake presentations to potential supporters.
  • Contribute to a diary of events

Ideal candidates must have:

  • A self starting attitude
  • Experience in fundraising, business development, customer services account management or a similar role in developing supporter relationships.
  • Ability to identify prospect supporters
  • Excellent written and communication skills with the ability to deliver information to a variety of audiences
  • Ability to network with local businesses
  • Ability and willingness to travel
