Commercial Motor Claims Handler

£25,000 - £30,000 + excellent benefits package

Mid Surrey

Busy expanding specialist Claims team, handing a portfolio of claims from notification to settlement - saloon vehicles, fleets, vans, heavy goods vehicles etc.

You will be handling own allocated portfolio of cases from notification to settlement; ensuring a high quality service, with prompt and equitable settlement. Dealing with more complex and higher value cases, and providing technical guidance and advice for other members of the team.

Written correspondence and telephone liaison with all parties - insured, third parties and insurers, specialist third party service providers. Responding to day to day queries and resolving referrals from internal departments and insured.

Skills & experience:
Current/recent Motor Claims experience -from an Insurer, Broker or Accident Management background.
Up to date knowledge of claims protocols for handling RTA A/D, Third Party & Total Loss cases.
Up to date knowledge of FCA requirements including TCF.
Strong communication skills.
Good organisational skills & ability to work independently.
Competent IT skills, to include Word, Excel, Powerpoint
Cert CII or good progress is an advantage & is fully supported.
