As a Manager within the Global Mobility team you will primarily have a compliance focus, alongside advising on expatriate tax client issues and developing and managing client relationships. Combined with this you will also be responsible for developing and coaching junior members of the team.

With exciting plans for growth and development within Global Mobility Team, my client are looking for someone who has the appetite to take advantage of the personal career development and business opportunities, which can be gained through the exposure and responsibility of day to day delivery and management of relationships across a broad range of issues, including client delivery and assisting with the consolidate of the compliance practice.

You will be responsible for the following areas of delivery:
• Managing all day to day aspects of a client portfolio.
• Building and maintaining relationships with clients and providing a high level of client service.
• Managing junior members of the team to ensure a high standard of client delivery.
• Delivering technical advice and compliance for clients, and to review work and provide coaching to team members.
• Being the primary contact point for both the corporate clients and the individual expatriates.
• Managing the compliance process, addressing any concerns and ensuring the compliance process runs smoothly.
• Being involved in technical analysis of remuneration plans and expatriate tax positions.
• Assisting with business development by working on tenders and proposals, and liaising with the marketing function to assist with the development of a business development strategy.
• Assisting in winning work by proactively managing existing clients and contribute to winning new clients.
• Managing the successful delivery of tax projects, ensuring technical excellence and a practical/business driven approach.
• Managing risk appropriately for both clients and the firm.

For this role, you must be able to adequately demonstrate the following:
• Ideally CTA qualified (or equivalent).
• Technical Expatriate Tax experience.
• Modified PAYE experience is an advantage.
• Experience of year end process, NIC and expatriate P11d’s would be beneficial.
• Strong communication skills and proven client relationship skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Proactive, delivery focused team player.
• Significant Expatriate Tax compliance experience.
• Experience of preparing, reviewing and signing off UK tax returns.
• The ability to build strong relationships at all levels.
• Some proven business development skills/experience, including some previous experience with tenders/proposals.
• Enthusiastic and flexible attitude to work.
• Experience of managing a small team.
