Established for over 30 years, my client who are a highly regarded construction organisation based in South Manchester are currently looking to appoint a Credit Controller to join their stable and successful finance team.

Reporting directly into the Finance Manager the successful applicant will play an essential part to the finance team, you will be responsible for the full Credit function where you will manage a portfolio of key accounts , raising invoices, chasing overdue balances, uploading invoices.

The ideal Credit Controller will have a minimum of 1 years working within a Credit Control role, have strong communication skills and will have the confidence to build close with the clients.

For the role, you should have

• Credit Control experience with sound commercial awareness.
• Experience in dealing with multiple accounts of different sizes.
• Ability to resolve queries effectively and build relationships with clients
• Team player with the ability to integrate within the existing team and initiative to work independently.
• Ability to take ownership of accounts, and deal with both internally and externally to the business unit
• Self-motivated, organised and assertive team player
