This vacancy is for an Apprentice Office Administrator to work for a well- established property management business based in Manchester city centre.

The successful applicant will have a genuine opportunity to develop a long-term career with this business gaining industry-recognised professional qualifications. The business has previously had an apprentice that has successfully progressed to become a Junior Property Manager with the business. Applicants MUST be able to demonstrate a desire to learn and develop a career.

Responsibilities will include:

  • General administration duties including answering of phone calls and emails, filing, photocopying and shredding, data input and any other general admin/ ad-hoc duties as defined by management
  • Processing and completing invoices, disputing where necessary and ensuring that all relevant paperwork is included with the invoices
  • Mail handling with allocated schedules
  • Cheques administration and handling
  • Document validation
  • Dealing with the walk-in clients in a professional manner
  • Display excellent telephone manner
  • A passion for working in a professional business environment

The successful candidate will have the following skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication with a self-assured personality
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office
  • Minimum Grade C for GCSE English (or equivalent)
  • An excellent and confident telephone manner
  • Have an outwardly positive and passionate demeanour
  • A great eye for detail and excellent organisational skills
  • The ability to maintain the honesty and integrity of the firm
