Sales Manager / National Account Manager

Manchester - £45,000 - £50,000 + Car + Bonus

LED Lighting / OEM Supplier

A new role has been created for a Sales Manager to join an LED Lighting specialist supplying into OEM's.

The Role

This is a critical role involved directly with the continued future growth of the company. Reporting directly into the MD you will manage multiple projects, current clients and new business strategy.

The key responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Pitch, deliver and create long term relationships that will generate sustainability and growth

  • Develop and execute a sales plan for optimal customer portfolio management

  • Set and achieve quarterly targets for accounts and defined product range(s)

  • Follow and monitor the forecasting process and pipeline development methodology for product range

  • Liaise with the broader European Sales team on management of any pan European opportunities or target accounts

  • Provides analysis of sales information relative to required price adjustments for raw material, design changes, etc.

  • Responsible for preparation of internal sales-related documents

  • Responsible for customer application information

  • Supports with customer engineering interface

The Person & Essential Experience

  • Vehicle (Automotive) lighting knowledge would be an advantage

  • An Engineering qualification (Mech or Elect) would be advantageous

  • At least five years of work experience in an Sales role within a Manufacturing Environment is Essential
