A financial services organisation based in central Bristol is currently recruiting an Assistant Accountant to join their team.
To work closely alongside an external accountant this role will evolve if the business continues to grow as expected. The successful candidate will also play an active role in helping to streamline processes and make the finance team more efficient in its reporting.
Duties will include:
- Assisting with the preparation of management accounts
- Posting journals, accruals and pre-payments
- Preparing profit & loss statements
- Reconciling accounts
- Purchase ledger
- Sales ledger
- Assisting with payroll
Previous experience of some financial accounting is essential. Proficiency on excel and good communication skills are also a prerequisite.
