Locksmith - with commercial experience to work on a Service Desk
Looking for a trained Locksmith with front line experience doing work on commercial Locks and (ideally) safes. This role is to be trained to work on a Service / Help Desk that schedule field service calls to the Locksmith / Safe Engineering team.
The reason for this role is to improve the first time fix ratios by better understand the technical nature of a service call by have a Locksmith / Safe Engineer working on the Desk.
You will triage and possibly solve some issues over the phone.
Assist the Engineers, ensuring they have the likely part / consumable to take on a call and ascertain that a relevantly skilled Engineer is being dispatch to stop escalation and repeat call outs.
You will undertake the day to day scheduling of service calls, so must be PC literate and able to pick up the scheduling and internal IT systems.
Must be confident on the phone and have a customer focused service attitude.
You will be offered a basic between £25 - £30000 depending on experience.
This role is office based in Wolverhampton based Mon - Friday 08:30 - 17:00
