My client, a reputable and established organisation based in the Clifton, are looking for a payroll administrator to join their payroll team on a fixed term contract basis for 6 - 9 months with the possibility of going permanent.

Helping to implement a large project, the successful candidate will be responsible for processing payroll and performing admin duties such as processing claims forms and data entry.

The successful candidate will be one with experience in payroll and admin, someone who isn't afraid to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in, and finally someone who is friendly and a good team player.

Durties will include:

•Prepare and administer payroll, process information on starters, leavers, weekly timesheet hours, overtime, bonus etc, SSP, SMP, completion of P45 and P46 information

• Process variable monthly payroll data in a timely and accurate manner

• Support the payroll manager where necessary and undertake ad hoc payroll department administration duties

• Answer and resolve pay queries including tax and statutory queries from internal and external parties

• Process manual calculations for static updates

• Preparation of all PAYE returns for Inland Revenue

• Record benefits and expenses for preparation of annual P11D return of expenses and benefits to the Inland Revenue

•Processing of claims and data entry

The successful candidate would be one who is experienced in payroll, namely manual calculations (does not have to be end to end payroll) and has strong administration skills.
