An excellent role has arisen for an experienced Trade Mark Legal Secretary to join a well-established and respected Manchester City Centre based IP firm. The firm are looking for someone who has a keen interest in Patent & Trade Mark as they offer excellent career progression and this position would ideally suit a professional, reliable, efficient and highly organised individual, with excellent communication skills (verbal and written).

This will involve learning the key skills and systems required to provide full secretarial and administrative support at fee-earner level within our business.

- Outstanding organisational skills and exceptional ability to prioritise and juggle
- multiple tasks simultaneously and to be one step ahead
- A flexible, adaptable approach to work and accommodate changing priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence to liaise with those at Partner level
- Ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines, ensuring constant attention to detail, providing clear and reasoned details


- Experience in a Legal Secretary role, with the ability to demonstrate a high level
- of secretarial and administrative support
- Fee-earner workload management, preparation of standard forms, correspondence and direct billing experience

Educational Background:

- A-C GCSEs or CSE equivalents, A levels
- ILEX/Secretarial qualifications to include audio and typing speeds of approximately 70wpm; shorthand an advantage.
