Software Sales Executive- Cloud Financials

As a UK based Software Sales Executive- Cloud Financials, you will grow revenue and net new clients across assigned territories in the UK. To £55K base, £110K OTE, car allowance and company benefits.

My client is a leading SaaS vendor that specialises in building and developing Cloud Applications which including purchase to pay (P2P), order to cash (O2C) and professional services automation (PSA). They serve fast-growing organisations and dynamic enterprises, helping them to align Finance, Sales and Service in a way that enables profitable growth.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in achieving their ambitious customer acquisition, revenue growth and customer success objectives across the UK. They are seeking a highly motivated SMB Software Sales Executive with a proven track record of selling cloud based financials. The ideal candidate will have excelled in a start up environment and have a strong understanding of enterprise SaaS/Cloud applications.

  • Be accountable for the attainment of assigned new customer acquisition and financial performance targets in the mid market sectors
  • Forecast accurately and maintain all sales cycle activities within the CRM system in accordance with company sales process and methodology
  • Develop a deep understanding of the product offering, customer need, and competitive landscape
  • Develop and execute a sales plan that supports the company’s short and long term goals and abides by the established sales policies
  • Embrace and deliver the value proposition clearly and persuasively to a variety of different audiences, including C-level executives

Required Skills / Experience:

  • Proven track record of success driving revenue growth against quota and increased profitability in the Cloud ERP / Financials (P2P, O2C, PSA) space
  • Hunter mentality with extensive experience self-generating new business in mid market sectors
  • 4+ years of software sales quota carrying experience
  • Proven record of sales success in the UK
  • Working knowledge/experience of ERP/Financials (P2P, O2C, PSA) and selling into C-Level executives
  • Excellent presentation and listening skills
  • Must be able to thrive in a very fast paced and high growth business environment
  • High-level of self-sufficiency and resourcefulness
  • Excellent communication (written, oral) and presentation skills (in-person, virtual)
  • Experience working with ROI, cost modeling and other techniques to educate and persuade potential buyers
  • Solution and consultative selling experience
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Degree level candidate
