Business Development - Vehicle hire / leasing / rental
Our Client, a leading Commercial Vehicle Hire/Rental Company based in Birmingham are looking for an experienced Business Development Executive/ Sales Manager to join their expanding team.
You must have experience in the vehicle hire, rental, fleet or leasing industry to be considered.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be home based if preferred and will receive a fully expensed car, card, laptop and mobile phone.
Salary will be made up of a basic salary plus commission. Ideally basic salary around £20,000, however there is flexibility on this for the right candidate.
The successful candidate will be required to:-
- Build strong business relationships with SMEs and Blue chip companies.
- Present company to potential clients through direct communication in face to face meetings, telephone calls and emails.
- Generate own leads and appointments.
- Attend appointments with potential customers.
- Possess drive and motivation to ensure all sales opportunities are developed.
- Respond to tenders and requests for information in a timely manner.
The ideal candidate will have:-
- Experience in the vehicle hire, rental, fleet or leasing industry.
- Previous experience within a similar position.
- Tenacious and ambitious approach.
- A full UK driving licence (essential.)
- Willingness to travel.
- Proven track record achieving targets.
- Sales driven approach.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Professional manner.
- Polished appearance.
