Learning and Development Officer, £25k, Birmingham

We are looking for an experienced Learning and Development Officer with experience of using Totara or Moodle to join a successful and well-established business in Birmingham.

Working with the L&D team you will be responsible for developing content for the business' online learning portal. You will upload and manage the content, whilst also proving first and second line support to stakeholders and end users. This role is initially on a 6 month fixed term contract with the opportunity to go permanent at the end of the contract.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all eLearning, video content and interactive materials meet required guidelines.
- Work with L&D team to develop quizzes and activities for the portal.
- Handle queries from stakeholders via e-mail, phone and face-to-face.
- Work with stakeholders to provide advice and guidelines on best practise.
- Maintain and develop reports and provide analysis of the data to stakeholders.

Skills and Experience required:
- Experience of Totara or Moodle administration.
- Experience of producing quizzes, uploading activities and resources to an online portal.
- Background of supporting trainers and learners in an eLearning environment.
- Experience of Customer Support, either by phone or e-mail.
- Proficient with Microsoft packages.
- Work autonomously without direct supervision.
- Flexible, adaptable and able to work towards deadlines.
