Logistics Business Development Manager

My clients are a very well known and established logistics company, servicing the Middle East, Australia, USA, China, and India who are now looking to expand the business in regional areas of the UK, where they will look to open new offices close to where the right candidates may live.
My clients are seeking highly experienced sales professionals with a solid background in logistics. You will be of high calibre, used to dealing with high profile key accounts and have an exceptional sales ability. You will have managed teams effectively, and be able to demonstrate a lead by example method, opening and closing sales with new customers across your geographical area.
You will be in a position where you will be provided with an office and be responsible for the recruitment of experienced staff to that office as and when required.
Business development will play 100% of this role, and you will be expected to provide my clients with updates daily on progress of new clients to their business.
