Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for a Buyer to join a Not for Profit organisation in Manchester on a temporary basis. My client is the manager of a past faced and hands on department and is looking for an experienced Buyer to join the team.

This role is to provide support whilst the organisation recruit on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities:

-Obtaining and transacting into MRP, the reports and acknowledgements from Suppliers
-Generating and reviewing the monthly shortage report
-Identifying and reporting to staff
-Obtaining, processing and liaising with Buyers and Planning, regarding the Supplier status
-Negotiating with suppliers to reduce costs and build key relationships
-Review and manage bonded material

- Involved tendering across a wide range of products/services

- Liase with stakeholders
-Assist Senior Buyer with projects - up and coming project involve streamlining processes within the purchasing department and within other departments
-Raise and manage EC orders
-Deal with invoice queries
-Sales Enquiries

Essential Experience:

-Previous experience working within a public sector Buying role
-Familiar with a fast paced culture ordering and negotiating with suppliers
-Ideally looking for an individual who is part CIPS qualified or wanting to start their studies
-Enthusiastic individual who wants to expand their skill set and add value to the business
