Purchase Ledger Clerk (6 Month Fixed Term Contract)

South Bristol

£19,000 to £20,000 depending on experience (per annum)

Are you an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk?

Are you available to cover a 6 month contract?

Do you have experience of Sage?

Office Angels are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of an established Engineering company based in South Bristol that are looking for a confident candidate to assist with Purchase Ledger duties for a period of 6 months. The role is to cover maternity and will include a 3 week handover period,

Your main duties include:

  • Matching complex system purchase orders

  • Check all invoices for signatures, prices etc

  • Manage dispute register

  • Ad hoc administration tasks as required

  • Occasional Reception cover

We are looking for a candidate who can demonstrate the following attributes:


  • Experience working in a similar finance based role
  • Able to work to a high degree of accuracy
  • Clear and confident communication skills
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Flexible approach to work
  • An investigative nature
  • Available to start in March
