Infrastructure Engineer - Manchester (MediaCity / Salford Quays) - £35K - Windows, Linux
Salary - £35,000 + on-call (x 1.5) + 12% bonus + 10% pension

An Infrastructure Engineer with strong troubleshooting skills across Windows Server, Linux, Cisco, VMware, Checkpoint and SQL is required to join a successful software house based in the heart of MediaCity / Salford Quays. It is essential applicants have significant experience delivering technical support across infrastructure and applications covering Windows/Linux, Networking, Firewalls, Virtualised environments, Microsoft SQL Server and application support.
This role works closely with the 2nd Line team providing additional technical support to the Service Desk managing complex technical escalations raised across Infrastructure and applications. Working as a 'go to' contact with the 2nd Line team consisting of 5 Support Engineers you will report directly into the Head of IT Support.
An Infrastructure Engineer with deep troubleshooting skills/experience covering the following would be well suited:
- Windows Server 2008 R2 / 2012 / 2012 R2 / 2016
- SQL Server
- HP Datacentre Hardware
