An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Civil Infrastructure Engineer to join our client's Salford Quays office. This role will see the successful Civil Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for leading the delivery of civil and structural design packages across multiple projects from conception to completion as part of a motivated design team. You will also responsible for ensuring that all work is completed to current codes, standards and health & safety regulations and developing junior engineers.
Our client is a well-established integrated engineering and design consultancy, and has worked with internationally recognised clients including Heathrow and Gatwick airports, Network Rail, and National Grid. They are now seeking a Civil Infrastructure Engineer to join them on a permanent basis.
·Significant experience in a similar position and relevant qualification
oDegree qualified in civil or structural engineering
·Strong working knowledge of relevant civil and structural design codes and building legislation
·Proven record of successfully delivering projects
·Experience and knowledge of civil and structural design (Specifically Drainage)
·Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for liaising with clients and developing junior engineers
The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar position and strong up to date knowledge of relevant design codes across the civil and structural sectors.
